| So basically, I have the best news I've had in a long time.
I'm going to graduate on time!!!!
I switched my major from Middle School Education to a double major in
High School Education/Math, and I was able to fit all the required
classes into the next 4 semesters, and I am going to graduate in May
08! Sooo excited!
I still wanna teach middle school, and that can happen, eventually. For
Missouri, theres this certification test called the Praxis (or
something) where you take it in the area you were going into (for me,
now, high school) and then when I pass that, I can take it for middle
school, and when I pass that, I can teach both! Ah so excited.

| It seems like everytime I'm about to go home, I'm really excited. I get
pretty homesick. And I glamorize (is that a word?) going home. And then
I end up dissapointed when I'm there. I'm not saying its bad, and I'm
not saying I regret going home. I don't know. I guess I just expect
everything to magically be awesome and fun. But its not.
I just expect things to be different .. and they aren't. I guess I
expect the world to stop here, but its just like I've been home
forever. Nothing changes, everyone still goes to work, school, whatever
.. and acts like I've been here all the time.
I don't know what I'm trying to say, I'm just never as satisfied as I think I will be.

| Today is my Grandma's birthday. She passed 4 and a half years ago. I
really miss her. She was the kind of old person who didn't pay
attention to how old she was. So was so strong, and such an amazing
woman. I miss her so much.
I love you, Grandma. I miss you every day. <3
